"I did not have the feathers in the colors I needed and it was out of stock. So I gave this a try. The price is very good the sizing is as advertised. I have have tied over 100 fly's with the patch and I still have plenty left over. I will be getting more in other colors becasue I think the price cannot be beat for what you get on this patch. This is just the right price point and quality for me."

"An economical way to get quality hackle, easily cover most dry fly sizes. Uniform color. Good deal for the money."

"Ewing definitely sells quality feathers. I have a few ewing capes and saddles and those are quality as well."
Durian G.
"Are Streamers your game big and small? Then here's your saddle! Superb quility saddle!! If streamers ace your game whether it be for small creek. Trout to Mount worthy Musky then there saddles are the first place prize for you! Very prominent color and barring, the feathers have excellent quill density and movement overall and for saddle feathers they are quite fairly durable. As for the price you pay and the quality you get...once you use an Ewing saddle you might just but a couple more. I definitely am!"

How do I care for my Ewing Feather Bird products?
Caring for your Ewing Feather Bird products should be simple and no washing is necessary. Store the product in a the package it was shipped in for best results. If you no longer have the packaging, use a piece of cardboard or paper towel to prevent any oils from being transferred and store in a plastic bag. This prevents potential bugs damaging the feathers.
Avoid the pelt of one to touch the feathers of another. Store back to back or “skin to skin” if they’re not individually packaged. Remember it is normal to have some pliability and natural oils.
Most issues with pelts or feathers can be solved with some Dawn dish soap and hot water.
